1. Platform role

NextDraft provides tools for clubs, agents, and scouts to:

  • Publish job postings and manage applicant workflows
  • Create mandates (structured hiring programs) and generated agreement documents when parties accept a mandate

NextDraft:

  • Does not guarantee that hires will occur or that party-to-party commercial terms will be performed
  • Does not provide legal advice on sub-agency, FIFA, or local licensing rules
  • Is owed a placement commission by the hiring club when a player is placed through a NextDraft posting, as set out in the Club Placement Terms and general Terms of Service (typically 3% or 10% of contract value depending on representation)
  • Is not a party to the mandate operator fee (club ↔ appointed agent) negotiated on a mandate agreement. That fee is separate from NextDraft’s placement commission; both may apply on the same hire

Generated mandate agreements are records of information entered by users plus platform template text. Parties remain responsible for accuracy of operator commercial lines and for performing those obligations between themselves.

FIFA. For unrepresented placements through NextDraft postings, NextDraft may use its FIFA agent licence number 9695259225 as described in the Terms of Service and Club Placement Terms. Mandate operators who are independently licensed remain responsible for their own regulatory compliance.

2. Definitions

TermDefinition
MandateA structured recruitment program specifying club beneficiaries, optional teams, role line targets, term, and parties.
Club recipientA club organisation named as benefiting from hires under a mandate.
OperatorThe party authorised to create postings and manage hiring after mandate activation.
Generated agreementPDF/HTML document produced when mandate parties sign, incorporating scope and user-entered commercial lines.
Placement commissionFee the hiring club owes NextDraft on a hire through a posting (see Club Placement Terms).
Club↔club mandateTwo club parties; postings may be owned by either recipient club per role line.

3. User obligations (mandates)

  • Accurate representation of club naming when listing multiple club recipients (especially agent↔agent mandates).
  • Authority to bind oneself and, where claimed, to act on behalf of named clubs.
  • Compliance with applicable laws (representation, minors, anti-discrimination).
  • Commercial terms entered for the operator fee are between the mandate parties; NextDraft placement commission is additional and owed to NextDraft under the Club Placement Terms when a linked posting results in a placement.

4. Postings created from mandates

  • Mandate-sourced postings are ordinary job postings — same applicant, privacy, and club obligations as any other posting.
  • The mandate is an aggregation and commercial wrapper between parties, not a separate hiring pipeline.
  • Posting clubUserId remains the owning club.
  • Operator access is permissioned via mandate; it is not a transfer of club ownership.
  • Hires through those postings attract NextDraft placement commission as for any posting.

5. Agreement template disclaimer

Suggested block in generated agreement materials:

This document was generated by NextDraft based on information supplied by the signing parties. Operator fees in this agreement are between those parties. Separately, the hiring club pays NextDraft a placement commission on players hired through linked NextDraft postings (3% if the player is represented by an agent, or 10% if not), as described in NextDraft’s Club Placement Terms. Parties should seek independent legal advice where required.

6. Out of scope

  • Escrow or dispute resolution for operator fees between mandate parties
  • Automatic regulatory registration of agents by jurisdiction
  • Partner Member Benefits settlement (see Partner Program Terms)
